Founders of GreenNest Home in their first workshop

Our Story

GreenNest Home was born in 2018 in a small workshop in Sydney's Northern Beaches. Founders Olivia Chen and James Miller, long-time friends and environmental activists, were frustrated by the lack of truly sustainable home products that didn't compromise on style or quality.

After months of research and experimentation, they created their first collection of hand-poured soy candles and organic textile homewares. What started as a weekend market stall quickly grew as customers fell in love with their commitment to transparent sourcing, plastic-free packaging, and beautiful designs.

By 2020, GreenNest Home had expanded to include eco-friendly home decor and partnered with Indigenous Australian artisans to create exclusive pieces that honor traditional craftsmanship. Today, our team has grown to fifteen passionate individuals working from our solar-powered studio in Bondi, but our commitment to sustainability and quality remains unchanged.

Dr. Leo Nguyen

With a PhD in Materials Science, Leo evaluates our environmental impact and researches innovative sustainable materials. His expertise helps us minimize our ecological footprint while maximizing product quality.
